How do I place an order?
Order your print in 3 easy steps:
1. Select your turnaround (Standard, Express, SOS)
2. Are you supplying your design to us? In which case, we offer a free design check. Or do you need us to design the artwork for you? If so, add artwork to the basket and send us your design brief.
3. Click on the price and add your print order to basket.
Which forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major cards, cheques, and we also offer credit accounts (subject to credit check).
How do I send my files for printing?
Once your order is added to basket, simply click the orange
button to send your artwork alongside your order. Alternatively you can send your print ready files (files under 5MB) to email@example.com, or click the
button along the top of our website.
Can you print onto other paper stocks that are not listed on your website?
Yes, we hold different types of paper in stock but can't quote on our website for every single option. If you require any stocks other than the ones provided on our website, give us a call on 0345 594 5123 to find out more and get a bespoke quote.
Do images need to be RGB or CMYK colour?
Ideally we would like to recieve CMYK files, but RGB files will be automatically converted in the studio.
Will the colours be exactly like what I see on the screen?
No, because monitors show colours in RGB (Red, Green, Blue) and the print will be in CMYK (Cyan, Mageta, Yellow, and Black/Key). The best way to check the colours is to print them off on your own printer first. This will give you the best colour representation on your proof.
What is the turnaround time for my order?
We offer 3 different turnarounds on most of our products: Standard, express, and SOS. If you visit our product pages it will show you the expected times for each turnarond. (Each product's turnaround will vary).
What does 'bleed' mean?
In printing, the term 'bleed' meand that the ink coverage extends all the way to the end of the paper. We advise customers to have a 3mm bleed and a 3mm margin to avoid any text or images being cropped off during the guillotining process.
How do I create a PDF?
Click the Microsoft Office Button, point to the arrow next to Save As, and then click PDF or XPS.
In the file name list click PDF.
In the Save As type list click PDF.
If you want ot open the file immediately after saving it, select the open file after publishing check box.

How do I get a credit account?
For this you have to place 3 orders on a pro forma basis and then apply for a credit account. Our account manager will then run a credit check.
What paper finished can you do?
Please check our website for available stock, or refer to your account manager.
Can I email you a file for printing?
Yes, definitely. Just send your files to firstname.lastname@example.org, or go the the Send Us Your Artwork page at the top of our website.
I need something designed. Can Print Chain help?
Yes! If you give a brief outline of what you are looking for and any images of ideas you have, our Graphic Design studio will desing it for you and send you a proof.
Do you design logod & corporate designs?
Yes. Contact our sales team on 0345 5945123 and we can discuss your brief and give you an accurate quote based on the time your individual project will take us to design.
Will I get charged VAT?
The only items which don't have a VAT charge are leaflets, folded leaflets, and booklets. All other items are standard-rated (20% VAT).
